CGH Alumina Trilobe is a family of products developed in combination with additional activities and flexible feedstock for the refiners of producing maximum Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. Based on the well-designed alumina extrudates for hydrotreating and hydrocracking, our products are designed to work together to provide optimum solutions for the extra activity needed to process the additional difficult feed and at the same time maintain catalysts cycle flexibility.
Product Applications
HP-Trilobe is a high purity alumina extrudates with high capacity for impurities. It is can be used as catalyst carriers for making catalysts for multiple hydroprocessing applications, including ULSD, FCC and hydrocracker feed hydrotreating and reformer feed pretreatment.
HP-Trilobe is in the form of trilobes, with a Optimized resistance to crushing and a low attrition rate. It is with a bigger pore volume contrasted with previous generation catalysts carriers, and the pore distribution obviously moves toward the mesopore size, which makes the catalyst has a more unobstructed diffusion channel to overcome the diffusion limitation of the reactants and improve the accessibility of the active center. Meanwhile, it poses a lower density that benefits refiners reduce production costs while ensuring catalyst performance.
HP-Trilobe carriers is designed for Ni-Mo catalysts for moderate to high-pressure units processing refractory feeds. Step change in aromatic saturation activity makes it ideally suited for maximizing hydrogen consumption and volume swell, which provides a major boost in hydrodesulphurisation (HDS) activity when combined with CoMo catalyst at moderate pressure.
HP-Trilobe carriers can also be used for Co-Mo catalysts for ULSD. It gives significant improvement in HDS activity over a wide range of operating conditions and feeds. It provides stability in low pressure unites processing a mix of straight run and cracked feeds.
